So, Corona Cancelled Your Concert...

Let’s be honest: COVID-19 has taken a lot of the coveted summer experiences from us. But the thing I miss most is the concerts. Whether it’s hearing a band at a local bar, summer concerts at the park, or a nationwide tours like Harry Styles, I miss. It. On the bright side, the postponing gives me more time to plan the outfit I would wear to these concerts, and quarantine has given me plenty of time to sit on my closet floor and contemplate what I would wear if I’d gone. So I’ve narrowed it down to three fits (that I’ll share with you), and I’ve also linked a playlist with songs from some of the featured artists in this issue (all these artists are great!) so you can have your very own quarantine-concert. So sit back, plug in your earphones, and together we’ll pretend we’re at our favorite shows.

Y2K never fails. Whether you planned on going to a bubblegum pop concert or seeing your favorite bedroom pop icon, the t-shirt and printed skirt combo is there for you. And adding accessories like a bucket hat and some chains can elevate this reliable outfit even further.

Lastly, this outfit is for you if streetwear is more up your alley. I love this outfit because it's far outside my norm, but it’s still most definitely a serve (also, I have to give hypebeasts their props—I'm not sure how they stay in the mosh pit with layers on). Anyway, for those of you willing to sweat a little for your aesthetic, this is perfect for you.

Though all of our summer concerts are cancelled, that doesn't mean we can’t continue to dream about all the outfits we have planned for the future. So put on your clothes, put in your headphones, and rage (or vibe) from the comfort of your bedroom to some of the tunes in the playlists.
